Prof.Mirosław Herbowski: 

Born in 1958 in Bielsko-Biała -Poland , where he graduated from the

Music Lyceum . He was student of  Maria Skarbowska and Janina Rusnok-Naglik.

He studied at the Academy of Music in Krakow , as a student of prof. Irena Sijałowa-Vogel (student of H. Neuhaus). He graduated in 1982, receiving a diploma with honors.

He took part in many master courses provided by F. Rauch, I. Klanski, P. Salzmann, J.Riberę, Ch.Rosena.

He is prize winner of several competitions in Warsaw, Rotterdam and Rome.

He gives many concerts in Polish Philharmonics in Kraków, Poznań, Wrocław , Rzeszów , Śląsk ,Baltic and in the national philharmonic as well.

His achievements include concerts at the Berlin Philharmonic, Yamaha Hall and Steinway Hall in New York, Grieg Academy in Bergen, Lyon Opera, Sasol Auditorium in South Africa, Abu Dhabi Congress Center in UAE.

He also gave concerts in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Georgia, France, Germany, Japan, Italy and Ukraine.

From 1981 he worked as a piano professor at the Music Academy in Krakow where he gets doctorate degree-1989, and habilitation -2004.

In 1989-97 he was the head of the piano department at the Conservatoire in Jakobstad in Sweden , then a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Music.

In 2004 he started work at the University of Rzeszów. Currently, he is a professor at the Faculty of Music.

In 2014 he gets Professor title from the Polish President due his skills and achievements in music .
